BIOGRAPHY
Tina was a founding member of Badesch Abramovitch, LLC from 2004-2020 when she started Abramovitch Blalock & McKinnon, LLC. Tina Abramovitch is a zealous advocate of her clients’ rights in all areas of family law. She is energetic and personable, and in bringing these qualities to her family law practice, is able to secure exceptional results even in the most complex cases.
Tina was born in Montreal, Canada and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from McGill University in Montreal in 1998. She then went on to attend DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, receiving her Juris Doctorate degree in 2002. She also received her Certificate in Family Law at this time. Since obtaining her law degree, Tina has dedicated her career exclusively to family law. Tina is fluent in both English and French and is conversant in Yiddish and Hebrew.
In her career thus far, Tina has achieved a high level of success in many areas of family law in Chicago and across Illinois. This includes issues related to: divorce, custody, visitation, paternity, child support, property division, marital agreements, gay and lesbian family law, separation, and orders of protection. She is persuasive, intelligent, and completely committed to her clients’ wellbeing.
In 2016, Tina completed her mediation training at Northwestern University. Ever since, she has been helping couples mediate a myriad of complex issues related to divorce and family law.
Tina is a member of the Family Law Section of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Council of Lawyers, and the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Women’s Bar Association.
