Nicole McKinnon

Nicole graduated, magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2006 where she received her Certificate in Family Law. While attending DePaul, Nicole was awarded a grant to work at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, in the Family Law division. Following her graduation from law school, Nicole joined Badesch-Abramovitch as an associate attorney.

In 2020, Nicole became a partner at Abramovitch Blalock McKinnon. She recognizes the serious, life-altering nature of family law cases and strives to provide personal attention and dedicated representation to help her clients through this extraordinarily difficult time. Nicole is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is the co-chair of the Child and Family Law Advisory Committee for the Council of Lawyers and received a Special Recognition Award for her pro bono work with the Council of Lawyers/Chicago Appleseed. Nicole has been repeatedly appointed to the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services’ Child Support Advisory Committee.
